Astrology is the five thousand year old study of the influential effects of the sun, moon, stars, and planets on events on the earth. The word Astrology is derived from the greek Astrologia - meaning the study of the stars. Horoscopes are predictions or insights into our lives, made by studying the stars in our sign on the zodiac.

The Zodiac is an imaginary band of space drawn from the earth, following the path of the sun, divided into twelve parts which each contain a different astrological constellation relating to the specific star sign. From the position of stars and planets within these sections of the zodiac, an astrologist can make predictions about events and situations of people born under each sign.
